DAY 2 | FRAGRANT HILLS TRAINING & TRAIL SKILLS
Our first trail session takes place at Fragrant Hills (Xiangshan) once an imperial garden known for its forests and vistas. We focus on technique: climbing and descending drills, pole work, and navigating rocky Northern China terrain. Seasonal views -- spring blossoms or autumn reds -- add to this energizing warm-up for the Three Peaks challenge ahead.

We explore the Forbidden City, stroll around Houhai’s lakes and cafés, climb Jingshan Park, and wander hutong alleyways filled with shops, courtyards, and everyday local life. Meals are a highlight—Peking Roast Duck for lunch and Beijing hotpot for dinner—fueling us for tomorrow’s climb.
